At the Irish Trans Aesthetic Fund, we believe in the power of aesthetics as a transformative force for change and a medium through which identities can be expressed, celebrated, and understood. Our mission is to support and amplify the identities of transgender community members in Ireland and to assist them along their transition to look and feel their most authentic selves.
Why Support Trans Voices?
Trans individuals have historically faced significant barriers including discrimination, marginalisation, and lack of resources. During their transition, these challenges can be even more pronounced. By supporting trans members, we not only help to break down these barriers but also enrich our trans community with opportunities to enhance their outer appearance that are often underfunded.
Our Goals
The Irish Trans Aesthetic Fund is dedicated to:
Providing Financial Support: We offer grants to trans members experiencing financial hardship to help offset the cost of aesthetic treatments.
Fostering Community and Collaboration: We intend to organise workshops, events, and mentorship programs that create spaces for trans members to connect, collaborate, and support one another on their journeys.
Increasing Visibility: By promoting the stories of trans people, we aim to raise awareness and foster understanding of the diverse experiences within the trans community.

“We’ve all been there. Looking back at ourselves in the mirror and that dreaded feeling of having lost your connection to yourself. That feeling of not recognising the person looking back at you.
That was my experience back in 2021.
I was depressed, overweight, low self-esteem and low self-worth. I felt like the stress and anxiety of the pandemic had taken a toll on my face and literally couldn’t recognise myself anymore.
I decided I needed a change. A “tweakment” if you will, to help look and feel more like my most authentic self.
I turned to aesthetics for a few anti-aging treatments and it changed my life.
Within a few weeks I had my confidence back, I was taking control of my health and my weight, I felt empowered and had a newfound energy that had been missing for years.
Since moving my clinic to Temple Bar in 2023, I’ve been lucky enough to have gained a number of clients from the trans community and in that time, I’ve listened to their stories of the struggles, homophobia and unprofessionalism they’ve experienced while trying to access aesthetic treatments and for an overwhelming number of them, they have difficulty affording aesthetic treatments, especially if they’re just in the beginning of their transition.
It’s for this reason, I founded the Irish Trans Aesthetic Fund.
The country of Ireland, particularly the city of Dublin and those that live here, have been very good to me and I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve had. I’m in a position now that after several years of hard work, I’m able to give something back to the community and I’m excited to help others on their journey to looking and feeling like their most authentic self.”

To celebrate the launch of the Irish Trans Aesthetic Fund, we’re throwing a Halloween bash with lots of ookie spookie surprises!
RAFFLE
We’re raffling off over €2500 in treatments and vouchers on the night! All money raised will go directly to the ITAF to assist in the costs of setting up a non-profit in Ireland.
